Diggers Fountain

The Diggers Fountain (also known as The Miners Memorial) was erected in honour of past and present diamond diggers. It portrays five life-sized diggers holding a diamond sieve on high. It was designed by Herman Wald.

You can see this monument in the Ernest Oppenheimer Gardens off Jan Smuts Boulevard.

In the same Gardens there is a bust of Sir Ernest Oppenheimer as well as the Malay Camp Memorial.
