Amandla Trail of Kimberley

A 4-5 hours Drive and Walk, it is sometimes known as the Freedom Trail or Struggle Trail.
Prior to 1994 little was known about the history of the black people of South Africa other than what was allowed to be published during the apartheid era. The Amandla Trail allows the visitor to view historic sites connected with the various Black cultures and their history in the Diamond City.
You will get much more out of all these tours by booking an accredited tourist guide to accompany you. In addition, we recommend that you visit the NOCCI Tourism Centre at the Big Hole (Tel: 053 8304426) for a detailed tourist guide book and other tourist information.
