Masonic Temple Lodge
One of the buildings which adorn Du Toitspan Road is the Masonic Temple. It was one of handsomest structures of its kind erected for the use of the brotherhood in the Colony. The corner stone was laid October 10th 1888, with much ceremony, in the presence of a large number of Freemasons and other citizens, by the late Lord Rosmead, Governor and High Commissioner
